Annette Petersen began creating the Wee Forest Folk characters over 25 years ago. Located in Massachusetts, today Mrs. Petersen is joined by family members son Willy, daughter-in-law Jenny, and daughter Donna Petersen in producing this highly collectible and beloved series which includes miniatures, most of which are mice. The original of each piece is sculpted by one of the Petersens and then reproduced via a mold. Pieces are made of hydrocal, a composite of clay. The pieces are then meticulously hand painted. The attention to detail is exceptional!
